18/08 /22 The Water Cycle.           Evaporation happens when a liquid substance becomes a gas. When   water is heated it turns into vapor and evaporates up back into the clouds.Secondly there is condensation.Condensation is how water vapor cools down and forms into water droplets.Precipitation is needed to replenish water to the earth.Without Precipitation this world would turn into a desert. All of these parts of the water cycle are really important because without evaporation there would be no clouds or rain in this world. And without condensation there would be no clouds.Without precipitation there would be no rain or snow.

First week back at school!

Kia Ora ,

Welcome back to my blog Today I am going to explain a recap on what i have done in my 1st week back in school.First off I think that the best highlight of this week was the Powhiri for the new Deputy Principal in our school named Whaea Whitney. And i also think that my 2nd favourite highlight of this week was learning about New water facts on how water is made and where water comes from. And those 2 were my best highlights from term 3 Week 1.

For reading, writing and inquiry our focus is on New Zealand History and Heritage.

Take care.

Kia Ora everyone,

Room 5 started their term well. We worked on our classroom expectations (PB4L) list. Everyone had to contribute towards the expectations list.

Things like :

  1. Expectations for entering and exiting the classroom
  2. Expectation when working independently
  3. Expectations while working in a group
  4. Expectations when working as a class
  5. Expectations around wet day play and lunch time

The list will be laminated and stapled on the classroom walls by end of this week.
